David Carson is the principal of Carson & Co.
David's regulatory practice spans all areas of the banking and financial services sector. He provides advice and support to corporate clients and law firms on all aspects of the regulatory regime, including specialist support on transactions and restructurings involving a financial services element.
After graduating in law from Cambridge and Sheffield Universities, David began his career at Slaughter and May, where he spent eight years practising corporate, commercial law and financial services regulation. He joined General Electric in 2004, first as European Head of Regulatory Affairs and latterly as General Counsel for GE Money in the UK, a position he held for two years.
David set up his own practice in 2008.
