In this section of our website, we set out a brief overview of the principal sectors of the financial services industry that we have experience in.
Whilst it is true to say that most of our expertise lies in advising clients actively involved in the provision of financial services, we also assist clients whose main business is not in regulated activities at all. Such clients may be keen to understand the "perimeter" of the regulatory regime in order to understand what can and cannot be done without needing to seek an appropriate authorisation – or it may be that certain discreet aspects of their activities may fall to be regulated and they require our expertise on how to comply with what seems like an unfathomable set of rules and requirements.
